If you’ve got a data tariff, just sign into Yahoo! Mail from your phone and there’s your mail. Send, search, receive, reply to friends, family, the boss, your personal trainer – whenever you want.

  • Top Mail features: Access all of your favourite desktop mail features: read, reply, compose, send, and more.
  • No setup necessary: Just click the Mail link from the Yahoo! Homepage or type the URL into your mobile browser.
  • Stay in sync with your PC mail: Yahoo! synchronises your desktop and mobile email.
  • Contacts and contact management: Access your Yahoo! Contacts to look up and/or to add contact info.
  • Attachments: View Microsoft® Office, PDFs and popular photo files.
  • Folder access & management: Access your personal mail folders and organise messages by customisable groups.

Don’t forget to Bookmark!

  • On the iPhone®: tap + at the bottom of mobile browser, then tap Add Bookmark, name the page and save. To find it, tap on the book icon at the bottom of the browser and locate bookmarked page from the list.
  • On the BlackBerry®: click on the Menu Key, select Add Bookmark, name the page and save. To find it, click on the Menu Key, select Bookmarks, and locate bookmarked page from list (or directly from the Opera Mini browser bookmark list).
  • To access your mobile control panel: as of December 2009, please bookmark the control panel in order to quickly and easily update your account settings, such as phone number, operator and model, in the future.

IMAP is another way you can get Yahoo! Mail on your phone. Using IMAP you can download messages with your mobile client, so you can access your mail even when not connected to the mobile Internet.


How to set up Yahoo! Mail with your mobile client using IMAP


    For all other mobile devices, supply the following information, if prompted:

  • Incoming Server -
  • Outgoing Server -
  • Incoming Port - 993 (requires SSL)
  • Outgoing Port - 465 (requires SSL)
  • Username: full email address (
  • Password: is the password you login to Yahoo! with

Here's the easy way to get Yahoo! on your phone

1. Enter your mobile number. Include your area code.
2. Yahoo! will send an SMS to your phone that includes a link. Click on the link and follow the directions to get Yahoo! for mobile.
3. Congratulations! You now have access to Yahoo! mobile services on your phone.
